Closed-loop control

A closed-loop control strategy continuously monitors the actual condition of the controlled variable—such as the air temperature leaving the cooling coil—and adjusts the valve to maintain the desired setpoint. This approach offers more precise control, enhancing energy efficiency and occupant comfort, and is therefore generally preferred in HVAC systems.
