Cooling tower performance: Range and Approach

Range is the temperature difference between the condenser water entering and leaving the tower (condenser water return, CDRT and condenser water supply, CDST).

Approach is the temperature difference between the condenser water supply (CDST) and the cooling tower entering air wet bulb temperature (Twb, in).
