In the previouse note How heat pipe work?, I mentioned that heat pipes are mainly used for energy recovery and dehumidification enhancement. This note illustrate the application for dehumidification enhancement. This process is typically seen in the Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) or Outdoor Air Unit (OAU). The process on Psychrometric chart is also shown.
