What is a data center and its four core elements?

While many organizations and firms give the definition of a data center, this post provide summary based on several common interpretations.

A data center is a facility that houses servers, storage, computing and networking equipment. As shows in the picture above, it consists of four core elements: Facility, IT infrastructure, Support infrastructure and Operations staff.
