Psychrometric process – humidification by steam injection

Steam humidification is the process that a mass of dry saturated steam are injected into the moving airstream and the steam will mix completely with the air (none of steam is condensed).
The change of state is almost parallel to dry-bulb temperature line as known as isothermal humidification. This will be achieved by using dry, saturated steam with the mixing distance is long enough (follow manufacturer recommendation).

The process line will follow dh/dw ratio, which equal to hw (enthalpy of the steam, kJ/kg; = hv or hg)
–> hw = 2501 + 1.86 x Tw (T_st in °C).
