In the previous notes, I illustrated the pump curve, system curve, operating point of pumping system and the arrangement of pump in both parallel and series. This notes illustrate the operating point of pumping system of two identical pump running in parallel when both pump are running and when only one pump is running. Understand the operating point in each condition will help you design and operate the system correctly.
